Meet Dr. Sean Toomey 

Dr. Toomey was born in Florida, but moved to Sevier County with his family at the age of nine.

Education

He graduated from Gatlinburg-Pittman High School where he was Valedictorian and a National Merit Scholar. Dr. Toomey then went on to attend Vanderbilt University where he earned a degree in Psychology and graduated with honors. He received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis where he also graduated with honors.

Philosophy

When it comes to patient care, Dr. Toomey holds the same philosophy as his mentor, Dr. Jon Shell. Patient care and the quality of care comes first and foremost in his practice. He wants to provide an atmosphere that makes his patients feel comfortable and at home.

Hobbies and Interests

In his spare time, Dr. Toomey enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Jennifer, daughter, Katherine and son, Will. He also enjoys hiking, exercising, outdoor activities, watching Vandy and UT sports (although this might sound contradictory, he has to root for both of his Alma Maters), and spending time with his family, friends, and also his dogs, Jack and Hudson. Outside of these activities, you will find him as a frequent visitor of Sevierville Golf Club, with Dr. Toomey having a slight obsession with the game of golf. He also enjoys attending church at Pathways in Sevierville.
